Surrogacy step by step
Medical documents and tests
Before starting a surrogacy process we must present a series of documents and medical evidence.
Visit to the clinic in Georgia
Intended parents will go to clinic Zhordania in Tbilisi, where they will present the corresponding documentation, sign a contract with the clinic and another contract before a notary that will be valid with the surrogate mothers-to-be. The intended father will provide genetic material.
The clinic has a database of candidates, who have passed the strictest medical protocols to ensure that they can carry a healthy pregnancy.
IVF and embryo transfer
If the person who contributes the eggs is the intended mother, she must perform a stimulation process in Tbilisi so that the clinic can perform an egg retrieval process. If intended parents need to use donor eggs, they can select one from a large database.
Our agency carries out strict pregnancy monitoring through the clinic Zhordania, and the results of the medical tests will be sent to you periodically.
Birth and preparation of documents
After the birth, all the necessary documentation will be prepared for the Civil Registry together with the baby’s travel document or passport. The approximate time of stay in Georgia will be between one and two months.
We’re finally going home to our baby. Depending on the legislation of the country of destination, we will probably have to carry out the processes of filiation and adoption.
